New York, NY – The Community Preservation Corp. (CPC), a leading non-profit lender for affordable housing throughout New York State, announced today that its Bronx and Brooklyn offices are being consolidated into a single New York City originations team to be led by Robert Riggs, senior vice president and current regional director of the Brooklyn region.
Riggs has served as director of CPC’s Brooklyn region since 2008. He joined CPC in 2000 as a mortgage officer in the Brooklyn office. Prior to CPC, Riggs spent four years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York analyzing strategies for private lending and investment in urban communities. He also worked as an intern in the New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development after graduating from college.
