Equity Investing

CPC’s Equity Investment platform seeks to address the growing national housing crisis. We provide $2.5M – $7.5M investments into the preservation and creation of high-quality housing at affordable and workforce rents. We work carefully to also use our capital to help grow the capacity of the affordable housing industry by supporting emerging sponsors.  

We invest in strong and growing markets nationally, with recent acquisitions in North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, Washington D.C., and Connecticut. Our capital can work in partnership with government programs, alongside other capital partners, or as a standalone solution. 

Our sponsors are accountable to their local communities, finding opportunities and solutions at the neighborhood scale. While all of our sponsors have demonstrated extraordinary capabilities to develop and manage multifamily housing, we seek a balance of emerging and established sponsors so that we can both grow industry capacity and stabilize communities.  

Our patient approach to supporting long-term ownership of multifamily buildings ensures our buildings remain financially strong and physically sound. CPC’s Equity Investment platform leverages our record as an innovative housing finance partner to ensure that we can always find creative financing solutions for the right partners.
