This webinar highlighted solutions to support the multifamily building industry in its transition to low-carbon operations, including innovative, building-ready technologies as well as a discussion on funding resources and programs available through the New York State Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
Guest presenters included representatives of Aeroseal, Allume Energy, and Indow – all cohort participants in The Clean Fight, a nonprofit accelerator that helps identify and scale growth-stage climate tech companies from around the world. The Clean Fight’s expansion into New York is supported by NYSERDA and has taken on cohort companies aimed at smart electrification, systems optimization, and envelope efficiency to support New York City and State’s ambitious decarbonization goals. Each company shared about their products and best applications for multifamily building decarbonization
The webinar also featured an overview of NYSERDA’s incentives for multifamily buildings integrating energy efficiency and decarbonization into their scopes of work, and discussions about the ways in which moving toward low-carbon operations can create more comfortable, affordable, and sustainable buildings.
