Breaking Ground on the First Legacy City ACCESS Project

CPC’s Sadie McKeown was pleased to join Maeda Construction, a M/WBE development company, and our Legacy City ACCESS partners New York State Homes and Community Renewal as well as the Kingston City Land Bank to break ground on the first project funded through the $25 million Legacy City ACCESS program. Maeda Construction will fully rehabilitate this portfolio of four vacant single-family properties, to be sold to income-eligible first-time homebuyers in Kingston, NY. The Legacy City ACCESS Program is designed to transform blighted structures into newly renovated, move-in-ready homes that will help expand affordable homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income residents, specifically first-time buyers and households of color.
