The Community Preservation Corporation is a 501c3, mission based real estate finance company created in 1974 to address disinvestment in neighborhoods. Today, CPC stands as the largest CDFI solely committed to investing in multifamily housing, having invested more than $11.9 billion to finance the creation and preservation of more than 220,000 units of quality housing in neighborhoods across New York State and beyond. CPC has a robust construction lending platform, a mortgage bank, and equity and impact investment platforms that focus on our three goals: Expanding Affordable Housing, Closing the Racial Wealth Gap and Investing in the Green Economy.
CPC is committed to fostering the next generation of leaders in the housing finance and community development space through our internship programs. The summer 2023 internship class is very diverse and the largest to date. An internship at CPC is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to learn not only from their assigned supervisor, but also from peers and leaders across the company through professional development programming.
