Service Day with Green City Force

To celebrate the end of Fiscal Year 2022, the CPC team joined inaugural CPC Connections grantee Green City Force for a volunteer day at one of their Eco-Hubs, located at Wagner Houses, a New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) development. The urban farm provides fresh produce to 4,706 residents and is operated by young NYCHA residents in the Green City Force AmeriCorps service and training program. CPC volunteers weeded, built garden beds, and prepared the grounds for a fruitful summer season.
