The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC)
Since Mary A. Brennan joined CPC in 1983, CPC’s lending has expanded from a few select neighborhoods in New York City to throughout all of New York State, New Jersey, and Connecticut. After being promoted to Director of Field Offices in 2008, Ms. Brennan has provided both leadership and strategic direction to all of CPC’s Regional Field Offices as they continue to foster partnerships with CPC’s headquarters and external community and governmental agencies.
Before this position, Ms. Brennan served as Senior Vice President and Regional Director of CPC’s Brooklyn Regional Office. In this role, she was responsible for the origination and underwriting of over $2 billion in loans in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Lower Manhattan, Nassau and Suffolk. Additionally, Ms. Brennan serves on the New York Advisory Committee for the Low Income Investment Fund, a national community development lender.
Prior to joining CPC, Ms. Brennan was an Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Housing Preservation and Development and Director of Tax Incentive Programs.
Ms. Brennan has a B.A. in Urban Affairs from Fordham University and a Master of Urban Planning from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She serves on the New York Advisory Committee for the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), a national community development lender.
